“Lovely hotel. In a fantastic location right by the entrance of Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Worth paying the extra for a room at the back looking out over the Maned Wolves and Lar Gibbons. We loved watching the animals from our room. Beds were comfy, shower was great and the toiletries smelt lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Was also a reasonable price unlike other zoo hotels which can cost £1000s. (We went midweek in September when the schools have……

“Staff very welcoming and informative. Helped with my VIP Expedia extra benefit drink, which was lovely and unexpected. Interior of the hotel is a beautiful thing to see. The rooms were clean, spacious and the biscuit selections in the rooms were on point. Parking was free and electric charging points were also free. Very happy to recommend and stay again if I’m in the area”

“A warm and friendly welcome. Nice to stroll in the grounds. Room was comfortable and quiet. Dario's Italian restaurant was excellent and a short walk away.”

“Affordable convenient hotel. Lovely staff. Clean rooms.”

“Clean rooms with staff always available. Would stay again”

“Great little room for an overnight stay. Would have been better if the restaurant was open earlier but it’s close enough to the shopping area. More like a motel, parking right outside the room. Would definitely stay again.”

“Lovely family run property with character. Large car park across the road £6.50 for 24 hrs (hotel has small carpark at back). Ideal walking distance for Racecourse and town centre.”

“Needs a good update. A bit of a throwback to the 70s! Room clean.but in a poor state of repair. Not impressed that you have to pay £7 a day for parking in the hotel car park which adds to tbe overall cost!”

“All the staff are all really friendly and helpful, they responded my email quickly before my stay. I was supposed to get a mail delivered at the hotel and they tried their best to keep looking for my mail. It was really helpful for them to do so. The hotel room is clean and spacious. The location of the hotel is good, supermarket is just next to it and town centre is within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to all.”

“Spacious room , very clean , pleasant helpful front of house , quiet great nights sleep , 5-10 min walk to airport depending on how quick or slow you walk , plenty of car parking ( daily charge for parking) it's not a thousand pound a night hotel or a five pound a night b&b but a fair priced mid market value for money hotel”
